Breaking Out

This is the new piece still untitled but thinking ‘Breaking Out’.
This was inspired by Paulie Rhyme’s description of his fresh new start.
And i connected with the concept, since I too broke off the corporate chains.

I’ve been cranking out a bunch of new paintings but this one is by far my favorite new piece. This may be a part of my new series, continued from the Off the Mark gallery series, and while the new pieces are kept secret, this one i had to show the public. That means i’m gonna have to up the ante to top this painting.

‘Tied Down to Your Hometown’

This painting goes to the saying, you never really leave your hometown.
Searching for that high, fullfilled success [balloon] and in the company of three others, on their own search for fullfillment,
i’m constantly away from from my strong and stable rooted family in Vallejo [trees]
there will always be a link [string] that’ll always guide me back home to the relationship and commitment [knot] to my family and city.

I hope some of you can relate.
